After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, 'Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.' At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. - Revelation 4:1-2.

Going to Heaven Anytime

How it Started

One night, I saw myself at a door, looking through a key hole at the spirit realm.  I drilled holes in the door and was beginning to get through.  Then someone told me I should just open the door and come in.  It wasn’t even locked.

It was an incredible dream, but I had no idea how to do it.  Next, Jesus visited me in a dream, and asked what would happen if I went and educated myself?

So I went about solving the riddle.  Who could know about opening a door to the spirit realm?  My research led me to Ian Clayton, and from there to Mike Parsons, who was helping local groups form and practice.  As I worked with the material, my dream-life exploded, and I began learning to see while awake.

I give this caveat, that I don’t have all the answers.  Much of what I see is still in riddles.  I may make mistakes.  What I’m sharing is the path.  I see the path as very old, and overgrown because not many have tread it.  But the time has come to do so.

Scriptural Basis

Jesus came to break our covenant with death.  (Isaiah 28:18.)  We don’t have to wait until we die to be with God.  See past the deception of death.  We can enter Heavenly realms anytime by Jesus.  (Hebrews 10:19-20.)  You engage by faith and by spirit.  This is what John experienced in Revelation 4.

  • Hebrews 10:19-20.  Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body….
  • Ephesians 2:6.  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
  • Hebrews 4:14-16.  Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, … Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
  • John 12:26.  Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
  • John 3:13 (KJV).  And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
  • John 14:20.  On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

Spirit can be divided from soul.  (Hebrews 4.)  You can decree their separation by faith by the sword of the spirit.  (Ephesians 6:17.)  Spirit seems to travel easier.  Later, we may need to bring our soul to witness and remember what our spirit man does.  But start with spirit.  Spirit is the most inner part of you, believed to reside in the spine, but capable of growing far beyond that.  Spirit is traditionally thought of as your conscience, consciousness and wisdom.  I suspect it’s more complex.  But it is the deeper part of you that communes with God.  Soul is believed to be your mind, will, and emotions.

Practice.  The principle is that to him who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance.  (Matthew 13:12; Mark 4:25.)  God rewards those who diligently seek Him.  (Hebrews 11:6.)  Solid food is for the mature who practice.  (Hebrews 5:14.)  Spiritual things can take time to develop.  One experience can build on another, as you progressively grow in faith and get clean.  I came to this with years of background in John Paul Jackson’s dream work.  Give yourself time to grow, and material to work with.  You can start by studying.  Then, apply what you learn.

Our gifts aren’t all the same.  Start with whatever works first for you, whether hearing, seeing, knowing, feeling, etc.

Try the exercise in the YouTube video below to start.  The protocol is simple.  Jesus provides legal access.  (Do get baptized.)  You activate your spiritual eyes by seeing things on the gateway of your imagination.  What we see and hear are electrical signals interpreted by our brain.  This can be trained in the spirit realm.  Starting out, you have no frame of reference.  So picture/imagine physical things as a frame of reference for spiritual things.  For example, I can picture a curtain that I draw apart and step through.  I can picture a door that I can open, or stairs I can walk up, or a veil I can pass through.  (This’ll make more sense after you try it.  In dreams, you see in symbols of physical things too.  Eventually, the things you picture will look differently to you, and in time you can move in and out of the spirit realm quickly enough to not need some of this protocol.  But imagine physical things to start.  Ian Clayton describes wading around in a river, so he could have a physical reference for picturing the river of God.)

Then, go immediately where you set your heart’s desire.  Desire is a guidance system.  Set your desire on where you are going.  Then step in.  You can enter by the cross, or through Jesus.  We’re gateways ourselves, according to Psalm 24.  In short, use portals.  If you’re not sure where to go, ask God where he wants to take you, and listen until you get an image or a thought.  You can ask Jesus to lead you too.

Have a happy thought.  Dark thoughts drag us down.  In peace and stillness, we are free.  In happiness, our spirit can soar.  Reject dark thoughts.  Choose to embrace good thoughts, and find something to be thankful for.  (Like in Peter Pan!)  If nothing else, be thankful for Jesus and that he made a way for us through the cross.

Find a group and join them online.  Groups see more than individuals, and can confirm what is happening.  Mike Parson’s system can get you connected.

Don’t wait to be clean.  Go there to get clean.  (Zechariah 3.)  Jesus is our priest.  (Hebrews 11:21.)  The priest prepares the sacrifice.  Your job, is to show up, offer yourself as a living sacrifice, and cooperate with Jesus.  Give Jesus the right to do his work in you.  Ask Him.  Put another way, you can’t do these things on your own.  It’s too hard.  You have to submit to Jesus reigning in you.  (This is a paradox.  You are in him, as he is in you.)

All of what we’ve done in building relationship can be done from the other side.  Minister to the Lord in Heaven.  Worship the Lord in Heaven.  Wait on the Lord in Heaven.

What you see changes the more you use it.  I used to picture a wooden door.  One day when I pictured it, it was gold.  Then one day, the door was gone and replaced by diamond doorposts.  Then, I found myself stepping in without imagining anything at all.

I wish I did a better job.  It’s frustrating to have these experiences, and not have much corresponding to them on earth.  You can get frustrated too.  Keep trying.

I like to be physically presentable.  If I’m not, I keep a blanket handy.  Doing this stuff at morning or night, I use that blanket a lot.

See For Yourself

Here’s a Mike Parsons exercise that you can do yourselves.  It was one of the first I tried, from January 2015.  No one can have a relationship with God for you.  You have to go yourself.

There’s 38 minutes of instructions, followed by an exercise:
